Veritas Forged Warranty & Return Policy
Limited Lifetime Warranty
This Warranty applies exclusively to the original consumer or purchaser of Veritas Forged Wheels (Veritas Forged) products and is not transferable. To process warranty claims, PROOF OF PURCHASE is required – please retain your original invoice.
This warranty replaces all other express warranties. Any implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the term of this warranty. Some states do not permit limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you. Veritas Forged makes no other warranties beyond those explicitly stated in this document. Except for warranties implied by law that cannot be disclaimed, all other warranties are hereby expressly disclaimed. No other representations made by any officer, employee, or agent of Veritas Forged shall be binding upon the company.
Veritas Forged products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and craftsmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the wheels, starting from the date the wheels are received. The finish on the wheels is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of two (2) years from the purchase date, provided the wheels withstand normal driving conditions, including non-hazardous weather and road conditions, as well as typical operating temperatures.
For this limited warranty to be valid, Veritas Forged products must be installed correctly on the intended vehicle, as specified in the Order Confirmation authorized by the consumer, or in the care and mounting instructions provided at the time of delivery. Additionally, the specified lug nuts, bolts, or hardware supplied by Veritas Forged must be used. Tires mounted on the wheels must also be appropriate for the vehicle.
Warranty Void Conditions
This warranty does not cover damage to or failure of any Veritas Forged product resulting from improper use, road hazards, or external damage caused by the following conditions:
- Improper Refinishing or Alterations: Any refinishing, repairs, or modifications made to Veritas Forged wheels by parties other than Veritas Forged will VOID the warranty and may compromise the structural integrity of the wheels, creating potential safety risks that could lead to injury or death. This includes:
-
- a) Disassembly
b) Refinishing
c) Heating
d) Bending
e) Cutting
f) Welding
- a) Disassembly
- Off-Road or Hazardous Driving Conditions: Damage caused by off-road racing, unpaved roads, or road hazards, such as potholes, gravel, debris, scrap metal, tire remnants, trash, or any other road clutter, is not covered.
- Improper Tire Use: Issues arising from improper tire usage on Veritas Forged wheels, including incorrect tire inflation, overloading the vehicle, misalignment, imbalance, or using inappropriate tires, will not be covered by the warranty.
- Impact or Abuse: Any damage caused by impacts, such as bending, collisions, potholes, flat tires, curbing, accidents, racing, fire, vandalism, or rubbing from wheel well projections, is excluded from the warranty.
- Improper Cleaning: Failure to properly clean Veritas Forged products can void the finish warranty. Only mild soap, applied with a hose or soft cloth, should be used. Using harsh brushes, chemical-based cleaners, or acid sprays can damage the finish and invalidate the warranty. Note: Many car washes use acid-based cleaners on wheels.
- Exposure to Hazardous Chemicals: Damage resulting from exposure to road salt or other hazardous chemicals commonly used on roadways in bad weather conditions is not covered.
- Improper Weights or Accessories: The application of clip-on weights or other accessories to Veritas Forged wheels will void the warranty. Only tape-on weights should be used.
- Continued Use After Discovery of Defect: If you continue to use the wheels after discovering a defect or issue, any further damage or failure that occurs will not be covered under the warranty.
- Damage During Transit or Misuse: Damage caused during shipping, accidents, misuse, or negligence, or wheels that have been altered or repaired by anyone other than Veritas Forged, are not covered by this warranty.
Inspection and Installation Guidelines
Veritas Forged Wheels - Inspection and Installation Guidelines
- Inspection Before Mounting Tires: Inspect the wheels immediately upon receipt and prior to mounting tires. Once tires are mounted, the wheels cannot be returned for credit, and any corrective work will incur additional charges. Ensure the wheels are the correct finish color, bolt pattern, center bore diameter, provide ample brake caliper clearance, and match the required backspace or offset for your vehicle. ALL of these must be verified before mounting tires.
- Tire Specifications: Only use tubeless tires that align with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended sizes for your selected wheels. Using tires outside of these specifications could cause serious safety risks, including damage to the vehicle’s transmission, AWD systems, body panels, and other components. Veritas Forged Wheels is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect tire sizes.
- Lubrication: Before mounting tires, generously lubricate the tire bead seat area to ensure proper installation.
- Mounting Method: Use only CONTACT-FREE tire mounting machines to mount the tires onto the wheels.
- Wheel Weights: Use STICK-ON weights only. Clip-on weights can damage the wheels and will void certain portions of the warranty.
- Post-Mounting Check: After installing the wheels and tires on the vehicle, take a short test drive. Re-check the torque values of each lug nut/bolt to ensure they are tightened to the manufacturer’s recommended specifications.
- Spare Wheel Considerations: If using an original equipment wheel as a spare, ensure you keep the appropriate lug nuts/bolts and a properly sized lug wrench in the vehicle. In most cases, Veritas Forged Wheels uses original equipment lug nuts/bolts, though this may vary depending on the specific wheels.
Veritas Forged - Care and Maintenance Guidelines
-
2-Piece / 3-Piece Wheels
It is absolutely crucial that you never attempt to loosen or remove any of the bolts securing the wheel assembly. These bolts are a vital part of the wheel’s structure and tampering with them; especially when the tires are mounted and under pressure can result in serious injury or even death. Removing or loosening these fasteners will immediately void your warranty. These bolts are functional, not decorative, and any alteration could lead to catastrophic failure while the wheel is in use or during disassembly, posing significant risks to your safety. -
Maintaining Your Wheels
To keep your wheels in pristine condition, regular cleaning is essential. In areas where roads are treated with salt or chemicals, cleaning becomes even more important to preserve the finish and maintain your warranty. Please adhere to the following recommendations:
a) Avoid using any abrasive or chemical-based cleaners.
b) Clean your wheels with mild soap and water, using a soft cloth or rag to remove dirt and grime.
c) Do not use spray-on or hose-off cleaners under any circumstances.
d) Always allow your wheels to cool before cleaning. Never clean hot wheels, and it’s best to clean them in a shaded area.
e) For wheels with clear coat, paint, or chrome finishes, applying a soft wax, either paste or spray can help maintain their shine and make future cleaning easier. This is not recommended for uncoated polished surfaces.
By following these care instructions, you can ensure your Veritas Forged wheels maintain their exceptional quality and appearance for years to come.
